Little Guests based in Suffolk is owned and managed by Sue McFadyen and Emma Longman. Our careers show a passion for and a commitment to early childcare and development. Following successful careers in Nannying and Nursery teaching. We are now Mums and Registered Childminders. We have a great deal to offer: Boundless energy bags of enthusiasm and a marvelous gift for fun, friendship and good humor.
Sue McFadyen
I have 27yrs of experience working with children. I started my career working as a Nanny / Maternity Nurse at the age of 18, working with children between the ages of 0-16years old. My experience is varied : I have worked in the UK and abroad including roles at Windsor Castle and in London with showbiz families. The opportunity to work abroad took me to Madrid and Switzerland.
After returning to London I went onto study for my NVQ3 in Childcare Studies while working as a PA. I then joined the staff at a Montessori Nursery School with the under 5’s for 6yrs from 1997 till 2003.
I met my husband in London and had boy and girl twins in 2005 allowing me to put into practise what I have experienced and learned over the years! We moved to Suffolk in April 2008, where I became a playgroup assistant at the twins’ playgroup and then became a Registered Childminder in 2009. Now that my children are in full time school I have had the chance once again to play a key role in supporting the growth and development of a range of children with different needs through my Childminding. I am CRB checked.
Emma Longman
I started working with children in 1998 after qualifying for my NNEB diploma in Childcare. This led me to work as a private Nanny for 2 years, until I had my own children, now 3, 7 and 11 years old.
Whilst my children were small I worked again as a Nanny and Playgroup Assistant, as well as being involved in my childrens’ playgroup committee.
In 2009 I registered as a Childminder and I now have a very successful business serving local families with professional caring childcare. I am CRB checked.
Our Aim is to provide a safe secure fun filled environment for the children stimulating and developing their skills and to produce a flexible and affordable package for you.
