Wedding Creche

Booking terms:

1. A 50%  non -refundable deposit  is required to hold the booking.

2. Balance of payment is is due 8 weeks before the event.

3. The balance due may be negotiated if more than two children are cancelled from the crèche more than two weeks before the booking. If less than two weeks, the original balance will still be payable.

4. If cancellation occurs one week before the event, a goodwill gesture of 10% will be made.

5. Following the booking of a Little Guests Creche, should the number of children requiring our services increase, then a revised booking form must be completed and a new quotation submitted by the agent. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to accomodate an increase in number of children attending the creche.

Equal opportunities Policy:

1. Little Guests’ Wedding Crèche operates an equal opportunities policy. No child shall be excluded on the grounds of race, religion, disability or class.
2. Our team are also employed on the same principles.

Behaviour Policy:
1. Any child who is continually disruptive, in such a way as to prevent the other children from using the facilities safely, will have to be collected by their parents. This is in the extreme case where the staff have tried various methods to manage the child’s behaviour and these methods have failed.

2. Little Guests do not use any form of physical or mental punishment. Any behavioural problems are dealt with by distraction and discussion. In extreme cases of distress or bad behaviour,parental involvement will be expected.

Health and Safety:

1. We visit every venue beforehand and detail a risk assessment of any room to be used.

2. We obtain information about the fire procedure, check the doors, exits and windows.

3. The room is checked for cabling or obstructions.

4. On the day electric sockets are covered and hazardous objects moved out of the way.
5.  On arrival parents are expected to fill in and sign a questionnaire including a brief medical history of their child/children.
6.  All of our equipment is checked regularly and conforms to British Standards regulations.
7. We have a number of first aiders on our team and we always carry a First Aid Kit.

Food and Drink:
1. We provide water or sugar free squash and ask parent’s permission to give this to their child. We do not provide milk – this must be prepared and provided by the parents. We do have warming facilities available to us.
2. Any food is provided by the venue and it is up to the parents/hosts to check the standard of the food/kitchen

Child Protection:
1. All of our team are CRB checked.

2. We do not allow any other adults into the crèche apart  from the parents or hosts.

3. The children are only to be collected by their parents or by a nominated person whose name is on the parent form.

4. All children must be signed out.

5. A child cannot be accepted into the creche service unless his/her Parent /Guardian is on site at the venue and throughout the duration of  The Event.
